Relevant things to keep in mind when shooting at VHAC:

  • Starting times for scheduled shoots, are a half hour before official shooting begins.  It is advisable that archers arrive at least 15 minutes before practise begins to sign in, pay line fees, organise paper work, resolve any issues/concerns and generally help set up targets for the day or evenings shoot.

  • Wear suitable clothing when shooting.   Open toe sandals, thongs or bare feet are not allowed due to presence of arrows causing injury. Clothing should be close fitting, jewellery e.g. long earrings, cheek, lip or nose piercings removed and long hair needs to be tied back.  Camouflaged clothing must not be worn at any time when on archery grounds.

  • Please switch mobile phones off [unless electronically scoring] or at least put into silent mode so as not to disturb other people's concentration while shooting.

  • VHAC is a drug and alcohol free zone.  Smoking is prohibited on all grounds at all times.

PETS ARE ALSO NOT PERMITTED.
