Fleurieu Triple Final
Stage 3 of the Fleurieu Triple Event was held on Saturday 26th August 2017.

The Southern Vales Archery Club played host for the final Target stage of the Tri-club contest.
Weather conditions were not ideal but this did not deter from archers enjoying the event and looking forward to its completion and result.
The WA 50/720 attracted 15 archers from Southern Vales AC, 9 Great Southern Archers and 7 from the Victor Harbor AC. Andrew Kuchel from GSA produced another top score of 699 giving him consistent and high reaching scores throughout the competition.
Scoring overall was good despite the inclement weather. When final scores were tallied for both handicap and outright totals over the three stages, the Victor Harbor AC came out on top in both categories. It was with great pleasure that Graham Potts accepted the win which sees VHAC as the first club to be listed on the beautiful wooden trophies made especially for the event. It was generally agreed that this inaugural event was a great success and will become a top event in the three club calendars.
Congratulations are extended to those who organised the event - brilliant concept, well run and organised - a successful intermingling of fellow archers who enjoyed the lighthearted rivalry such competitions produce.
See you all next year!
