AJ Barter 50+ Tournament/Development Program and Member achievements
Archery in South Australia was going so well and particularly at the Victor Harbor Archery Club with final tournaments and championships bringing a close to 2020. Luckily these final events made it before Covid-19 popped up on the SA radar - once again!

On the 1st November Archery SA held the annual AJ Barter Masters and Veteran Tournaments at Mylor. Lydia Strutton and Ian Harris [associate member of VHAC] represented the Club and enjoyed a perfect day of archery. Lydia came 2nd in the Female Recurve Division and Ian, 8th in the Male Compound Division.

The AJ Barter is a great little tournament for the 'not so young' archer. It's also time for the long bowman to show what they can do. Even the newly appointed Archery SA President, John Vine Hall was there - with the best of us!
The Archery SA Development Programme ran its last session for the year and it was one of the best. Andrew Kuchel and his team of coaches and supporters are to be congratulated in making this programme available to help and improve the performances of SA Archers. Lydia Strutton and Stephen Howard are two VHAC members who have enjoyed the benefits of the programme and the expertise of coach Junior Alexander.

VHAC club members continue to excel with personal achievements within the club. Declan Bagnell has collected another 'All Gold' medal and Donna Johnson also achieved an 'All Gold' at 50m adding to her growing tally of medals.

Donna Johnson happy with 'all gold' @ 50m.
Finally Pat Coghlan received his official award 'certificate' from Archery Australia after breaking the National Field Record at the 2019 National Field Championships.
