Finally - we have a Competition! State Indoor Championships.

Let me introduce Marla [hope name is correct] a small visitor and member of the Moors family who were among the fourteen archers shooting at the VHAC Port Elliot venue last Wednesday night [12th August 2020].
It was good to see a few Victor Harbor archers competing as well as familiar faces from previous years who made a reappearance this year at the VHAC venue.

Due to Covid-19, the number of archers competing in the Indoor competition this is year is down. The National Indoor competition was cancelled even though Archery South Australia added the WA 18m to it's State event. A total of the two rounds will determine placings.
Final placings have not yet been determined as the championship has been spread over various venues at various times. At this stage VHAC members are well placed - Callan Ineson - 1st in 20 & under Male Compound, Rhiannon Mills - 1st in Open Female Compound, Joel Signorelli - 5th in Open Male Compound and Graham Potts - 3rd in Master Male Compound. Pat Coghlan retired after the first flight of the Double Australian 18m.
Mention must also be made of Graham Potts who equalled his State record at the Hills Archers Invitation Double Clout Tournament held at Lobethal on 2nd August 2020.

It was a late night for the two Moors girls, Lilly and Neve but they made it through and did very well with father Kieran keeping a good eye on them. The presence of puppy Marla probably helped also.
